IT IS a true, yet a harsh reality that Indian politics has the potency to turn a saint into a dacoit. We have seen it in the past and quite sadly, this power has only magnified over the years.
The latest casualty of this plague has been our very own ‘Munna Bhai’. The actor turned politician has suddenly found a brother in the form of Amar Singh. Despite his father and his sister’s commitments to the Congress, the junior Dutt has climbed the elephant and for some strange reasons, he seems to be enjoying this rough ride.
His newly established camaraderie has not gone down well with the Congress. However, true to his personality of living life on his own terms, ‘Baba’ has opened a completely alien avenue for himself. As expected, the results have been prompt. Suddenly, he has started feeling that he is a denizen of Lucknow. He has started realising and has quite blatantly admitted that he was tortured in jail, owing to the fact that his mother was a Muslim.
